Arcangelo MARZILLI

Arcangelo Marzilli passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the beloved husband of Iolanda (nee Lucarelli) for 60 years. Arcangelo was the loved father of Nick (Ruth) and Domenic (Michelle), and the cherished Nonno of Natasha Marzilli (Beau Zelinski), Nathan (Nora Pattenden), Alannah Rose (Jordan), and Bisnonno of Harrison and Navy Zelinski and Cecelia Rose. He was predeceased by his parents, Nicola and Addolorata Marzilli, and his parents-in-law, Domenico and Carolina Lucarelli. Arcangelo is also survived by his dear sister, Giuseppina Venditti (Michele), and was predeceased by his sister, Maria Colalillo (Pasquale). He will be lovingly remembered by the Venditti and Colalillo nieces and nephews and by the extended Lucarelli family. Arcangelo was a proud member of LiUNA Local 837 for over 50 years. Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 454 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., with a Prayer Vigil at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by entombment at Our Lady of the Angels Mausoleum. Memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
