Allen Stephen McChesney

Allen Stephen McChesney passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary, the love of his life, his soulmate. He is survived by his children, Alan, Steven, Susan Vaz, and Sandy Ridge, as well as his grandchildren, Christopher, Jason, Natalie, Emily, Lauren, and Katie. He was also predeceased by his parents, Alice and Charles, and his in-laws, Isabelle and Louis Billings. After a long and successful career at Stelco, Allen enjoyed golfing and curling in his free time. He was an active member of the Hamilton Victoria Curling Club until his final years. Together with Mary, he traveled the world and had a passion for photography. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 2 - 5 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 11th at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
