Valerie Rose McCALLION

Valerie Rose McCALLION passed away peacefully at Hospice Georgian Bay on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband, Harry, daughters Shari Talbot (nee Cassie) and her husband Joseph Talbot, and Nancy Cassie, grandchildren Trinity, Liam, Mindy, and great-grandson Rayne. She is also survived by her stepchildren and chosen grandchildren and their families, as well as her siblings Marion Reive, Kim Hume (Brenda), Cheryl Hume, and Kenny Hume (Joey). Valerie was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Harold Hume, brother Barry Hume, brother-in-law Ken Reive, and niece Melissa Cook. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, staff, and volunteers at RVH in Barrie, CGMH in Collingwood, and Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood for their kindness, compassion, and care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Hospice Georgian Triangle would be appreciated. A private service will be held in her memory.
