It is with sadness that the passing of Tuula Elisabet Yacyshyn of St. Catharines, Ontario, is announced. Tuula, born on May 20, 1938, passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 88. She is survived by her children, Tina (Ryan), Carey (Wendy), and Simon (Indira); her grandchildren, Paige, Abby, Justin, Emily, and Jacob; and her close friend Sirpa. Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home, located at 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1. For those wishing to honour Tuula's memory, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Children's Centre.
