Stephen BLAHUT

Stephen Blahut passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 83, at the Niagara Health System - St. Catharines Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, June, and was a dear brother-in-law of John Michlik and his wife Lorraine. Steve is also fondly remembered by his nephews Darren Michlik and his wife Angelina, and Greg Michlik and his wife Telisha, as well as his great-nephew Jax Michlik and many cousins. Predeceased by his parents Angela and Joseph Blahut, Steve was a long-time proud employee of General Motors and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, and relaxing at the cottage. The family is grateful for the care and kindness provided by the staff at Health at Home during his struggle with immobility. In accordance with Steve's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family interment service will follow.
