Patricia "Pat" BRAUN

Patricia 'Pat' Braun passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jack Braun (2021). Born in Wakefield, Yorkshire England in 1933, Pat emigrated to Canada in 1957 and married Jack Braun in 1962, a union that lasted 59 years. Pat was a devoted teacher, a world traveler, and a dedicated bridge player and golfer. She was also a loving parent to many cats and a gifted hostess. Pat will be fondly remembered for her kindness, generosity, and lasting friendships. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Anne and Irmy, numerous cousins in England, dear friends, and many nephews and nieces. Pat held a special place in her heart for her niece Heidi (Helmut) and was a bonus grandmother for Lucas (Clarence), Miranda (Andy), and Silas (Isobel). The visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, Friday, February 27th, from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. A private interment will take place in the spring. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Newark Neighbours or Community Care St. Catharines.
