Michael ANTONIUK

Michael Antoniuk passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 88. He was the devoted husband to Millie, with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage, and later found joy with Cecile Peters, whom he loved for 18 years. Predeceased by his parents, Nikifor and Anna, and several siblings, he is remembered by his sister Edna and brother-in-law John Prystupa, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was a loving father to Karen, Wendy, Rob, and David, and cherished his role as grandfather to Daniel, Kate, Brayden, Jared, and Morgan, and great-grandfather to Cooper. Michael proudly served the City of St. Catharines as a firefighter and lieutenant for 35 years, retiring in 1997. He was a devoted volunteer and friend to the community, known for his kindness and outgoing nature. In his later years, he enjoyed travel and cruising with Cecile, and spent time at The Orchards and Pioneer Elder Care.
