Margaret (nee Duff) ELDER

Margaret Elder, a remarkable woman, passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on February 13, 1936, in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the beloved wife of Jim Elder for 50 years, until his passing in 2012. She is survived by her daughters, Lindsay, Karen, and Kendall, and her grandchildren, Lincoln, Sawyer, and Miller. Predeceased by her parents, Jimmy and Rose Anne, her brother Jim, and her identical twin sister Rose. Margaret was a devoted mother and grandmother, and her family will long mourn her passing. She was a class act, known for her style and talent, and her family extends a special thanks to the support provided by Rosehill Lane and Ontario Health at Home. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. at Hulse & English Funeral Home and Chapel in St. Catharines.
