Margaret "Marg" Jean CRONKWRIGHT
Margaret 'Marg' Jean Cronkwright passed away on February 24, 2026, in her 88th year. She was predeceased by her husband, Willis; parents, Agnes and Robert Mason; and brother, Malcolm. She is survived by her brother, Bob (Bev); children, Barb (Mike), Daryl (Judy), and Janet (Stu); and will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Michelle, Jamie, Jesse, Kelly, Faith, Britney, Greg, Zach, Julie, Jenn, Cameron, and Shane; great-grandma to Layla, Owen, Mason, Nash, Kayleigh, Zander, Kelsey, Kaylee, Jake, Amiyah, Ava, and Gordie. Born in St. Catharines, Marg spent her younger years raising her family. She worked as a bookkeeper at Sterling Varnish and Willis's Quality Engine Service and Sales, and Niagara Drugs/Big V. After a brief retirement, she returned to work at the Marriot Hotel and gift shop in Niagara Falls. Following her second retirement, Marg and Willis became snowbirds, traveling to Florida every winter. She was an active member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church and devoted to her faith. She enjoyed fellowship with other church members, including the Knitting Club, making scarves for donation. Marg looked forward to her meetings at Tim Hortons, every Tuesday, with her dear friends. She also enjoyed weekly social gatherings, including family stitch sessions, calorie counters, and annual family vacations at Muskie Bay Resort, which started 36 years ago. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Niagara Health Marotta Hospital and Bayshore Home Health for their excellent care, compassion, and professionalism while caring for our Mom. A service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church.
