Margaret Jean JARVIS

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Jean Jarvis (Lewis) on September 1, 2026, at her home in St. Catharines, surrounded by her family. Margaret was the beloved wife of Robert for 58 years and a devoted mother to Laura Jarvis (Dino), Christopher Jarvis, and Amy Moore (Michael). She cherished her role as a grandmother to Tanner, Kelsey (Tio), Era, Joseph, Elly, and Evan. Margaret is also survived by her sister, Nancy Mate (Doug), and sister-in-law, Sandra Jarvis. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Florence Lewis, and her in-laws, Joe and Joanne Jarvis. A dedicated educator, Margaret taught high school English and inspired many students. Active in her community, she was a member of Mountainview United Church. A celebration of her life will take place on September 11, 2026, at Trillium United Church, with a luncheon to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
