Julio DI FILIPPO

Julio Di Filippo passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the age of 89, just three days before his 90th birthday. He leaves behind his wife, Gianna (Jenny), with whom he shared 53 loving years of marriage, and a devoted family who will forever carry his spirit forward. Julio was a devoted husband, the beloved patriarch of his family, and a pillar of the St. Catharines community. He was deeply loved and widely respected, remembered for his unwavering kindness, generosity, and remarkable work ethic. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2026, at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 7, at St Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St. at 9:30 am.
