John Timothy Bakker

John Timothy Bakker passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on September 16, 1960, he was the beloved son of Ester Bakker and the late Adam Bakker. He is survived by his siblings Carolyn, Mark, and James, as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. John was predeceased by his father Adam Bakker. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. John dedicated himself to his work with the Niagara Region for 34 years. Honouring his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at George Darte Funeral Home in St Catharines on Saturday, May 2, 2026, for visitation at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to Therapy Tails.
