She was predeceased by her parents, Fred Shriner and Betty Ludwig; her adoptive father, Ken Ludwig; and her brother, Gerry. Joanne is survived by her sister, Marie (Jim); her nieces, Nikole (Vince) and Delilah; and her nephew, Wesley (Heather). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Niagara Children's Centre.
