Helen Ruth McSPADDEN
Helen Ruth McSpadden passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 83. She was the dearly loved wife of Gary McSpadden for 59 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Brent McSpadden and Susan Gaynor. Devoted and much-loved grandma of Katelyn Spyker, Andrew McSpadden, Ryan, Bryce, and Ian Gaynor. Treasured great-grandma of Parker and Ronan Spyker. She is survived by her brother, David Haynes, and brother-in-law, David Fair. Predeceased by her mother and father, Donald and Viola Haynes, and her sister, Linda Fair. Helen will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends. She was a devoted member of West St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, and was known for her steadfast faith. The family invites friends to join them at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel on the same day at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at Maple Lawn Cemetery. For those unable to attend the service, it will be live streamed via the funeral home's website. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the West St. Andrews Presbyterian Church memorial fund or to Daily Bread Ministries Canada.
