Edith Marie Grimes

The family of Edith Marie Grimes announces her passing on September 18, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on November 17, 1937, in St. Catharines, Ontario, Edith was a beloved member of her community. She was predeceased by her husband, James 'Conrad' Grimes; her parents, George and Martha Warkentin; her former husband, George Penner; and her siblings, Grace, Viola, Wilfred, and Johnny. Edith is survived by her children, Greg (Jon), Chad (Shandra), Chris (Susan), and Gretchen Martin; her grandchildren, Jaymi, Dalton, Myckaila, and Nicholas; her great-grandchildren, Ryder and Rhayne; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on September 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, both at Scott Street Church, St. Catharines. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Niagara.
