Ann MUNRO (nee McDonald)
Ann Munro (nee McDonald) passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of the late David James Munro (2023). Ann was a cherished mother of Stephen (Rob), Janice, Tracy and daughter-in-law Tracy. She was a loving grandmother of Michael, Bradley (Lorraine), Brianna (Rob), Kaitlyn (Kovi), Alexandria (Tyler), Mackenzie, and a great-grandmother of Reina, with another great-grandchild, Rhett, on the way. Ann will be fondly remembered by her brother John (Gerry) and extended family in Scotland, including Michael (Joanne), Trina (Michael), Bill (Marion), as well as many other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William and Olga (nee Albinus) McDonald. Ann immigrated to St. Catharines, Ontario with her husband David, and they lived life to the fullest as soulmates for 60 years. A private family viewing followed by cremation have taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. In memory of Ann, memorial contributions may be made to the Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre) or Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
