David William PURCER

David William Purcer passed away on February 2, 2026, in his 99th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris Purcer, with whom he shared nearly 70 years of marriage. David is survived by his children, Linda De Jong and Bill Purcer, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by all of his siblings and will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends. Visitation will take place on February 5, 2026, at The Merritt Funeral Home, Smithville, followed by a funeral service and interment at Bismark United Church Cemetery.
