Wendy Elizabeth Lackner

Wendy Elizabeth Lackner of Smiths Falls, Ontario, passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on February 20, 1956, Wendy is remembered fondly by her husband, Rick; her parents, Wilfred and Joan Elsby; her children, Donnie, Jake, and Rebekah Wright; and her brother, Tim Elsby. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends who cherished her warmth and thoughtfulness. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95, located at 7 Main St E, Smiths Falls, ON K7A1A1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Diabetes Canada or the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
