Valerie Marie Kerr

The family announces the passing of Valerie Marie Kerr of Smiths Falls, Ontario, on September 4, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on June 29, 1962, Valerie was known for the many shared moments and relationships she cultivated throughout her life. She will be remembered for the joy she brought to her loved ones and the positive influence she had on those around her. Friends and family are invited to honor Valerie by reflecting on the cherished memories they created together. Valerie was predeceased by her father, Edward. She is survived by her husband, Steve; her child, Ashley Kerr (Taylor White); and her siblings, Allen McIlvenna (Karen), Ron McIlvenna (Shannon), Peter McIlvenna (Lucie), Suzanne Jackman (Mike), Tim McIlvenna, and Melody Rochefort (Steve). Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many dear friends. In memory of Valerie, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation (University of Ottawa Heart Institute) or the Perth & Smiths Falls Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
