Sylvia Jane Pearson

The family of Sylvia Jane Pearson of Smiths Falls, Ontario, announces her passing on September 26, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on April 18, 1938, Sylvia is remembered fondly by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Mervyn Pearson. Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Dorathy Smith (Robert) and Susan Pearson; her grandchildren, Riley (Ember), Chris (Grace), Joshua, Breana, and Valerie; and her siblings, Joe Bryan, Margaret Masterson (Billie), and Norman Bryan (Daphne). She also leaves behind her niece, Gillian Bryan (Paul), and nephews, Phillip Bryan (Vicky) and Trevor Masterson (Clare), along with extended family in Ireland. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, and a reception from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, all at Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to LAWS or St. John's Anglican Church.
