Madeline Elizabeth Annie Archer of Smiths Falls, Ontario, died on July 25, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on March 20, 1948. Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Lilian Hilton, and her brother John Hilton, she is survived by her husband David Archer; her children Richard Archer (married to Susan) and Mary Simpson (married to Todd); her grandchildren Callum Archer, Patrick Archer, Jacob Simpson, Josh Simpson, Lucy Simpson and Claire Simpson; her brother Edward Hilton (married to Olwyn); her brother‑in‑law Geoffrey Archer; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Contributions in her memory may be made to Ruddy Shenkman Hospice.
