Sheila Marlow (nee Craig) passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Norfolk General Hospital in her 86th year. She was the high-school sweetheart and loving wife of the late Fred Marlow (2024). Her late parents were Matthew and Edie Craig, both Scottish immigrants who met in Canada. Sheila was the last surviving member of the Craig clan of Merritton, ON. She was predeceased by her beloved brothers, Jack, Donald, Matthew, and Dr. David Craig, and her sister, Betty Norton, sister-in-law, Jean Craig, brother-in-law, Jim Norton and Fred's sister, Merlene Theal. Survived by David's wife, Linda Craig and Merlene's husband, Morley Theal. She was the loving mother of three daughters, Susan Goodlet (Lorne), Allison Verrier (Rik), and Lesley Smith (Steve). Adoring grandmother of Alyssa McKinley (Bill), Alex Goodlet (Alyson), Alana Baic (Mike) and Danielle Verrier (Jerry). Great-grandmother of Evan, Jenna and Jake McKinley; Ayla, Aria and Avril Baic; William and twin brothers Victor and Mason Goodlet. She was the loving aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Blessed with so many friendships, including her Lunch Bunch Girls, Tai Chi friends, and the good neighbors all around her. As per Sheila's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe, where reflections will be shared at 2:00 p.m. If so desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
