BARBARA AGNES (NANCY) RUTH HURST

Barbara Agnes (Nancy) Ruth Hurst (née Walsh), born December 16, 1930, passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on May 27, 2026, at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Walsh; mother, Lumina Walsh (née Babineau); brothers, Gerald, Francis, David, Patrick; and sister, Louise. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Tom), Patricia (Darrin), Carol, and Barbara (Vijay), and her grandchildren, Caroline, Katherine, Eric, and Nicholas. Barbara was also a loving aunt to many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. She was the widow of George. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica on June 12th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Covenant House.
