WENDY CHERYL JARVIS

Wendy Cheryl Jarvis passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 68, in Scarborough General Hospital. She is survived by her daughters Roberta Howey and her husband Greg, and Jillian Howey, her sister Peggy Robertson and her husband Mark, as well as many cousins, friends, and colleagues. Wendy was predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Frank Jarvis, her sister Carol Tomalty, who was the wife of Barry, and her brother Barry Jarvis, who was the husband of Donna. Born in Edmonton on September 21, 1957, Wendy was the youngest of four. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a BA in Military History. Wendy worked at Sears, where she met her husband Oliver, and they married in 1983. She also worked at Gentek, Orion, Western Star, and Vadim Software. In 2002, Wendy joined the United Church of Canada and served at Church of the Master United and St. Mark's. A funeral service will be arranged with St. Mark's United in April.
