ROBERT PAUL (BOB) RICE

Robert Paul Rice, also known as Bob, passed away peacefully in Scarborough General Hospital on July 1, 2026, at the age of 89. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Rice, whom he was married to for 56 years. Bob was a cherished uncle to many and will be remembered by his family and friends for his kind and patient nature. A dedicated member of the church, he was also passionate about life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and sharing a good joke. After retiring from Law Insurance Brokerage, Bob leaves behind a family who will deeply miss him. The family will receive friends at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by a mass of Christian burial at 1:30 p.m. The final rite of committal will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In memory of Robert, donations may be made to Sunnybrook Health Science Centre.
