Patricia Sumiye Adachi (née Kawashiri) peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the age of 105, at Scarborough Retirement Residence. Born on August 8, 1920, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Pat was the elder of two daughters born to Iwaichi and Ryu Kawashiri. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry, and her son-in-law, Joe. Pat is survived by her children, Dennis (Mary), Dale (late Joe, and partner Kip), Kathy, and Shen, as well as her granddaughter, Jennifer (Gord).
