Jacqueline Chiew passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on April 5, 1953, she lived in Canada for most of her adult life. She is survived by her son, Will, and her siblings, Marie, Karl, Gerard, Mireille, and Josiane. Predeceased by her parents, France and Yvette, her brothers, Max and Jean, and her ex-husband, Ernest, she will also be missed by her many relatives, friends, former colleagues, and the Mauritian Chinese community. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., at Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel, with a reception to follow.
