DOREEN TAKAKO OYAGI

Doreen Takako Oyagi, née Seto, passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 95, just nine days before her 96th birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Tom Oyagi and a loving and devoted mother of Suzie and her husband Tim Wallace, and June and her husband Richard Harada, and the late Michael Shin. Doreen was a proud and cherished grandmother of Thomas, Ryan, Jaclyn and her husband Phillip, and Erica. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Momiji Health Care, in lieu of a funeral, as per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Momiji Health Care Society or the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the staff at Scarborough Health Network – Centenary Hospital and Momiji Health Care Society for their compassionate care and support.
