DAVID WILLIAM THOMAS SKEFFINGTON

David William Thomas Skeffington passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on May 8, 1951, to Roberta and Bruce Skeffington in Waterloo, Ontario, David was a loving and devoted common-law spouse to Christine Main and father to Robert and David. He worked as an Engineer in the nuclear, oil and gas industries in Ontario and Saudi Arabia, and at the Ontario Science Centre. David was an avid camper, enjoyed wood projects and was a huge promoter of Human and Civil Rights. He is survived by Christine Main; his brother, Ron (Scott); son, David; niece, Tabitha Wallace (Mike); nephew, Jamie Fenton (Candice); stepfather, James Hughes and 8 great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Roberta and Bruce; sister, Sandra; and son, Robert. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside service will occur in the spring. Donations can be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or CAMH.
