DANIELLE ALANA TERBENCHE
DANIELLE ALANA TERBENCHE passed away on March 13, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on June 3, 1976, Danielle was the beloved daughter of Dan and Toni Terbenche. She was the beloved granddaughter of the late Dan Sr. and Mae Terbenche, the late Allan Stewart, and the late Anne Coffin. Danielle is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Walter and Regine Baker, and her aunt Sally Fagel, as well as her cousins Matthew, Shannon, Jenny, and Mark. Danielle grew up in the Cliffcrest area of Scarborough and attended R.H. King Academy. She later attended Guelph University, where she earned her B.A., the University of Ottawa, where she earned her M.A., and Waterloo University, where she earned her Ph.D. Between her M.A. and Ph.D., Danielle worked in the admission office at the University of Toronto. In 2018, she decided to switch careers and enrolled at the University of Toronto to qualify as a psychotherapist. Danielle was proud of all her degrees, but was especially proud of an award she received in 2008 from the tri-university history program for 'Best Paper or Article Submitted to a Scholarly Conference or Journal.' Danielle loved life and lived hers with a happy sense of humour, making many wonderful friends through her studies, work, and church. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to her extended family and friends for their loving support over the past year. They would also like to thank the staff in the cancer unit at Centenary Hospital and the palliative care staff at Providence Healthcare for their kind, professional care. Donations may be made to the Scarborough Health Network, St. Margaret in-the-Pines Anglican Church, or Holy Trinity, Thornhill Anglican Church. The funeral service will take place at St. Margaret in-the-Pines Anglican Church.
