CHRISTEL RUTH WERA SCHULZ

Christel Ruth Wera Schulz (nee Huebner) passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Heinrich Schulz, as well as her brother and sisters-in-law, Werner (Helene), George, and Erich II (Hannelore). Christel will be greatly missed by her nieces, Hannelore (Antonio), Marianne (the late Arthur Sr.), and Marina (Craig), and her nephews, Erich III (Phung) and George. She will also be missed by her many great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Christel immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1956 with her husband and brother, and worked in a bakery for many years. A funeral will be held at McDougall & Brown, followed by interment at Pine Hills Cemetery. A viewing will take place on May 6th at 10 a.m., with the service beginning at 11 a.m.
