Charles Robert "Chuck" HILL

Charles Robert 'Chuck' Hill passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Sault Ste. Marie, at the age of 75. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing, after a lengthy illness. Chuck was the beloved son of the late Reverend John C. Hill and Doris Hill. He is survived by his wife, Carol (nee Leaney), and was the son-in-law of the late Bill and Helen Leaney. Chuck was the father of Matthew (Cynthia) and Aaron (Joelle), and grandfather of Emma, Charlotte, Andrew, Joshua, Jonas, and Ezra. He is also survived by his siblings, Lynn (late Bill), Murray (late Susan), and Jonathan (Angie), and brother-in-law to Dianne and Barry Armstrong. Additionally, Chuck was a loved uncle of 10 nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at the Blackstock United Church in early May of 2026. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Humane Society of Ontario.
