William Percy O'BRIEN (BILL)

William Percy O'Brien, known to many as Bill, passed away on August 2, 2026, at Bluewater Health Sarnia, at the age of 84. He is survived by his partner of 35 years, Chantelle Dearing, and his children, Tammy Van Troost, Jody Fex, and Bill O'Brien. Bill was also a loving grandfather to Allison, Jessica, Tyler, Lukas, Josh, Leah, Sam, and Fin, as well as several great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, Bill and Elsie O'Brien, and his brothers-in-law, Milt and Merv McLay. Bill was a farrier by occupation and had a deep love for horses and mules. He enjoyed spending time working on puzzle books and visiting with his friend Kathy. A private family graveside service has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
