She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Edwin Leitch. Ruth is survived by her children, Donald Neil Leitch (Gail McHardy-Leitch) and Jeananne Thomas (Steven), as well as her beloved grandchildren, Ailsa Leitch, Anika, and Aisl. While her presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the influence she had on those around her will endure.
