Ronald James Edwin Taylor

Ronald James Edwin Taylor passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on March 13, 1949, in London, Ontario, to Leonard and Betty Taylor, Ron is survived by his wife Elizabeth 'Betty' and their daughter Evelyn. He is also survived by his brother Bill Taylor, sister Lyn Reidy, brother-in-law Rob Quaid, and sisters-in-law Donna Blue, Shirley Kelley, and Beverley Taylor, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Betty Taylor, his brother Allen Taylor, sister-in-law Jean Taylor, and brother-in-law John Kelley. After a 36-year career at Imperial Oil, where he worked in the Research Department and held several patents, Ron retired. He met his wife Betty in 1971, and they were married for 53 years. Ron took great pride in providing every opportunity for his daughter Evelyn, and she was his pride and joy.
