Ronald Henry Sayers

Ronald Henry Sayers passed away peacefully at the Vision Nursing Home in Sarnia, Ontario on August 3, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born on February 18, 1935, in Sarnia Township. Ron is survived by his sisters, Yvonne Fraser and Eileen Baggs, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Colleen Margaret Sayers, and his parents, Wallace James Sayers and Clara Myrtle Sayers, and siblings Pauline Mondoux, Evelyn Nichols, Marie Sutton, Francis Showers, Walter Sayers, Raymond Sayers, and Carrie-Mae Sayers. Ron attended Sarnia Collegiate Institute and Technical School and obtained his Stationary Engineer Certificate, working at various establishments including CN Rail, Sarnia General Hospital, Imperial Oil, and Shell Oil. A service will be held at DJ Robb Funeral Home in Sarnia on August 14, 2026, with visitation at noon and the service at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow, and interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice, Vision Nursing Home, Bluewater Health, or the Rotary Children's Fund.
