Rita (nee Caschera) Iannozzi

Rita Iannozzi, née Caschera, passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 89, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the loving wife of the late Cataldo Iannozzi and devoted mother of John and his wife Rosanne, and the late Frank. Rita will be dearly remembered by her grandchildren, Michael and Christina, and her husband Carter DeAngelis. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews in the Sarnia area, including Anna and Frank Brennan, Rita D'Andrea, and Ben Iannozzi, and their families. Born in Isola de Liri, Frosinone, Italy, to Felice and Carolina Caschera, Rita was the affectionate sister of her four brothers, the late Angelo and Umberto, and Mario and Attilio. After arriving in Canada with her husband in 1961, Rita became known for her incredible cooking and generous hospitality. Following her wishes, Rita was interred privately surrounded by her close family. Donations to the St Joseph's Hospice of Sarnia may be made in her memory.
