Richard Gerald "Gerry" EEDE

Richard Gerald 'Gerry' Eede passed away peacefully at Trillium Villa Nursing Home in Sarnia, Ontario, on June 23, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Winnifred Eede, in 2021. Gerry is survived by his loving son, Craig Eede, daughter-in-law Nicole, and grandchildren Colten and Cohen. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Eede, and his wife Maureen, as well as niece Christine and nephews Donald and William Eede. Gerry was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother, and will be deeply missed. A graduate of Queen's University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Gerry spent 29 years on the staff of Lambton College. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed coaching local minor league hockey teams. Gerry will be remembered for his kindness and dedication to his community. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on July 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Funeral Home.
