Maurice Alan Cameron

Maurice Alan Cameron, born in Dayton Township in 1934, died on August 17, 2026, at Trillium Villa in Sarnia, aged 92. He was the devoted husband of Marg for 64 years and the father of Carol (Stephen) and Ken (Renuka). His grandchildren were Stewart (Raquel), Sarah (Greg) and Megan (Lucas). He is survived by his sister Norma Cameron, sister‑in‑law Marnie Cameron and his sister‑in‑law, and was predeceased by his brother Earl. Maurice spent his career with Ontario Hydro before retiring, and was a long‑time member of Grace United Church and the Bluewater Anglers. His interests included nature, fishing, bridge, curling, golf and farm work. Visitation will be held at McCormack Aquamation Burial and Cremation Services, 254 George Street, Sarnia, on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be shared online in Maurice’s Guestbook at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com, and donations in lieu of flowers may be made to The Inn of the Good Shepard or a charity of the family’s choice.
