Mary Ann COLBORNE

Mary Ann Colborne (nee Date) passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the age of 73. She was the third of five children born to Katheryn and Harry Benson Date. Mary Ann was born in Ontario and later moved to Germany with her family, beginning a lifelong habit of living internationally. Her family eventually moved back to Corunna, where she attended school. After graduating, she worked in Sarnia, then moved to Calgary, and later to Indonesia with her husband's career. Mary Ann was a talented organizer and logistician. She married and started her family, and was known for her remarkable gardens, devotion to her pets, and ability to find the right words for any situation. Mary Ann was a loving mother to her daughter, Darcy Carmen. She is survived by her daughter, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband and dear friend, Steve Colborne, as well as her parents and father-in-law, Joe Colborne.
