Lorraine Long

Lorraine Long of Sarnia, Ontario, passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on December 14, 1935, she was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Long, her parents, Edward and Myrtle Dingwell, her brother, Thomas, and her grandparents, Thomas and Ethel James. Lorraine is survived by her children, Thomas (Leslie Pace), Brenda (Jim McCormack), Brian, and Amanda, along with daughters-in-law Gwen (Victor) and Yvonne (Shawn). She cherished her grandchildren, Melissa (Ryan Martin), Michael, Joshua, Emily (Matt Lambert), Memphis (John Belay), Veronica, Noah, and Jacob, as well as her great-grandchildren, Clark, Walter, Stella, and Audrey. A burial will take place on October 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Lakeview Cemetery, with visitation from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, followed by a celebration of life at 11:30 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the Sarnia & District Humane Society.
