Lodilia (née Fontanili) POLETTI

Lodilia Poletti (née Fontanili) passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 101, at her home in Marshall Gowland Manor in Sarnia. Born on December 9, 1924, in Italy, Lodilia is survived by her children Deni Poletti, Gina (Jim) Belrose, and Endri Poletti (Joyce Nolan). She was Nonni to Luke Belrose (Kirsten), Amanda Bouma (Derek), Romy and Nina Poletti, Gibreel and Ilyas Poletti; and Bisnonna to Katie and Scarlett Bouma, and Frank Belrose. Family and friends will be received at the McKenzie Blundy Chapel (Smith Funeral Home) on March 30 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. with prayers being offered at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on March 31 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Red Cross.
