Leslie Edward "Ed" FISHER

Leslie Edward 'Ed' FISHER passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on April 2, 2026, at Bluewater Health, at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Barbara Joyce Fisher. Ed was the loving father of Pam (Bill) Smith and Steve Fisher, cherished grandfather of Shelby Fisher and Bradley Fisher, and great-grandfather to Forrest and Wolfgang. He was the dear brother of the late Diane Swanstrom and was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Gertrude Fisher (Nee Myers). Ed worked at Suncor Sarnia Refinery for 35 years, retiring as a Manager. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Crombeen and PSW Jill for their care and compassion shown to Ed in his final days. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sarnia District Humane Society, by cheque only, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Funeral Home.
