Kenneth JAQUES

Kenneth Jaques, age 82 of Petrolia, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Bluewater Health - C.E.E. Site, Petrolia. He was the beloved husband of the late Christine Jaques, who predeceased him in 2020, after 52 years of marriage. Kenneth is lovingly remembered by his children, Brian Jaques, Wayne Jaques and his wife Leslie, Keith Jaques and his wife Justyna, and Andy Hommy from Alberta. He is also cherished by his grandchildren, Emerson and his wife Peyton, Trista and her husband Quinton, Alyssa and her husband Dylan, Alex and his wife Jenna, Andrew and his wife Emma, and Tyler and his wife Sydney, as well as his great-grandchild, Brynlee. Kenneth is survived by his siblings, Ruby and Hazel, and brother-in-law, Mike Edgar. He was predeceased by his sisters, Jean and Verna. Kenneth is also survived by many friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service for Kenneth will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11 am at The Brigden Fairgrounds, followed by a graveside service at Wyoming Cemetery and a luncheon at the Wyoming legion.
