Joseph Romeo Yvon HACHE

Joseph Romeo Yvon Hache passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Bluewater Health – C.E.E., Petrolia, at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Peggy Hache for 33 wonderful years. Joseph was a loving father of Tracy Thomas and her husband Vince, and Alison and her husband Jeff Wilkinson. He was a cherished grandfather of Brodie Sicard, Jaxon Wilkinson, Ethan Wilkinson, and Haley Wilkinson. Joseph was a treasured brother of Rose-Marie and the late Paul Shoniker, and Louise Lucier. He was a dear uncle of Patrick Shoniker, Mark Shoniker, Lise and her husband Rob Finlay, and Lawrence Lousier. Joseph was also a great-uncle of Mary Shoniker, Calynne Finlay, and Calvin Lousier. He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Laurette Hache, and by his sister Linda Hache. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. with visitation held prior from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Cancer Society and Diabetes Association, by cheque only, at the funeral home.
