James Nelson (Jim) HARDY

Jim Hardy passed away on April 25, 2026, at Bluewater Health Sarnia at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife and best friend Brenda, children Wayne Hardy and Cheryl Maxwell, grandchildren Kassie Maxwell, Nick Maxwell, Madison Govier, and Chase Hardy, great-grandchildren Harlow, Chandler, and Daxton, brother-in-law Tom Haggarty, sister-in-law Bonnie Perryman, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his friend and mother of his children, Betty Anne Hardy, and his four-legged friend Sammy. Jim was predeceased by his parents Archie and Luella Hardy, in-laws Wilfred and Ruth Brock and Tom and Gerry Haggarty, brother Ron Hardy, and infant daughter Sandra Lee Hardy. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Polish Hall in Sarnia on May 2, 2026. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Sarnia Humane Society or St. Joseph's Hospice Sarnia.
