Grace Adel (Lumley) MCLAUGHLIN

Grace Adel (Lumley) McLaughlin of Petrolia, formerly of Courtright, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, at the age of 99, just 17 days before her 100th birthday. She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Keith McLaughlin (2006), to whom she was married for 60 years. Grace was the loving mother of Karen (Bert) Moore and Connie (Steve) Preston, and cherished grandmother of Jeff (Erin), Brad (Vicky), Andy (Meagan), Seth (Valerie), Luke (Lindsay), and Zoe. She was also a great-grandmother of Emily, Travis (Alexis), Ashley (Micheal), Zach (Ashley), Ethan, Austin, Maverick, and Meadow, and a great great grandmother of Kayleigh, Ada, Trent, and Scarlett. Grace is survived by her brothers Bob (Bonnie) Lumley and Terry (Linda) Lumley. She was predeceased by her parents Harvey and Ella Lumley, her sister Marion Codling, Marjorie Hubble, Ella Marie Daughpney, and her brothers Tom and Don Lumley. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Steadman Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 11 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at Moore Union Cemetery.
