Gordon James Bell

Gordon James Bell passed away on August 12, 2026, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Geri Bell, and their children, Jenn Bell, Mike Bell and his wife Amanda, Kevin Bell and his wife Stephanie, and Ashleigh Gauthier and her husband Joe. Gordon is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler, Aiden, Elena, Ryker, Paityn, Savannah, Anna, and Ainsleigh, as well as his great-grandson, Jaxon. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Debbie Loveman. Gordon was predeceased by his brother, Ken Bell, his parents, James Bell and Elizabeth Mary Roher, and his grandsons, Zach and Gabriel. During his career, Gordon worked as a Process Operator for Dow Chemical in Sarnia and Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, before retiring in 2007. He later worked at RONA in Sarnia. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Gordon.
