David Samuel BOYD

David Samuel Boyd passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, at the age of 84, surrounded by his loving family at Bluewater Health. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shirley Boyd, and their children Stacy, Jackie, Sheila, Jason, and Tanya. David was also a treasured grandfather of five and great-grandfather of ten. He was predeceased by his siblings Bill, Don, Evelyn, and Shirley, as well as his parents Daniel and Evelyn. David enjoyed visiting Tim Horton's at Northgate, where he would often chat with the staff, and he was fondly accompanied by his pet Edith. A cremation has taken place, and family and friends will gather at Smith Funeral Home on August 10, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. An interment of his ashes will follow at Resurrection Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Living Sarnia-Lambton, with cheques accepted at the funeral home.
