(Ann) Marie (Née Nisbet) Billick

Marie Billick passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, at the age of 93, with her loving family by her side at Victoria Hospital in London. She was the dear mother of Ann Mittag and her husband Roger, and of Susan Cousins and her husband Barry, as well as a mother-in-law to Mary Beth Billick and her partner Pat. Marie was a beloved grandmother to Daniel, Brian, Natalie, John, Leena, and Jackson, and a great-grandmother to Callum and Liam. She was predeceased by her husband Walter, to whom she was married for 54 years, her son John, and her siblings James, Kathryn, and Thomas. Born in Petrolia, Marie spent most of her life in Sarnia, where she raised her family and later worked at Nova for 18 years. She was an active member of her community, participating in various social groups, including Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and organizing charity fashion shows. After moving to London in 2019, Marie continued to enjoy her hobbies, including bridge, bingo, and movies. A celebration of her life will be held at Westview Funeral Home in London on September 19, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
